Question #5
5) What kinds of things saved our BUTTS on this project?
-Rachel Levine (Assistant Animator): Many of use had computer set ups at home, or they were able to get a set up at home. Commuting take a lot of energy that we could be devote to the project. It saved me a few times on this project. Also, our tecnical hardware and software support saved us.
-Patrick Lowery (Lead Animator ACT III): Because we like what we do, and want to get better jobs. At least that's why I did it. Oh, and cause Mike and Steph are friends/co-workers and they needed a hand.
-Gary Eggleston (Art Director): The extraordinary efforts of our crew.
-Kellie-Bea Rainey (Producer): Besides technical support and a most dedicated and talented crew? Alot of support came from friends, co-workers, and family members. We even had family members on th project as Production Assistants (PA).
-Patrick Lowery (Lead Animator ACT II): Having talented hard working people that you could rely on to do what was needed. I think it's self-explanatory.
-Doug Cooper (Technical Director): A dedicated team who believed in what they were doing. Members on the team weren't in it for the money, they wanted to participate, they wanted to be part. Our producer was key in helping to spread the virus. She infected everyone she met with the excitement and enthusiasm surrounding our project. Without her tireless dedication to keeping us all working together, and pulling on the right people when we needed them, this project would never have gotten off the ground.
-Sandi Frame (Character Designer/Storyboard Artist): Speghetti! 'nuff said'. Our hardware and softwaresupport team.
-Mike Gasaway (Lead Animator ACT II): Having technical assistance who really knew how to deal with networking and software issues. This allowed me to only animate.
-Christopher Janney (Scene Planner): Render power from the 2 DEC ALPHAs we had.
